Two doors in. Both count the same way.

Patronage is compute × data quality, relative to the pool. Run a node, bring a corpus, or both. Nothing here is a donation and nothing here is a subscription — it is recorded work, and the record is checkable.

The compute door

Bring a GPU. Any GPU — the federation is heterogeneous by design, and machines we have never measured are the most useful ones to measure.

Step 1 · measure your machine (5 minutes)

This runs a small fixed training job and prints what your hardware did with it. It downloads no corpus and no model — the data is generated from a fixed seed — and it sends nothing anywhere. You paste the result below.

Add --features cuda on an NVIDIA machine or --features metal on Apple Silicon. Without either it measures your CPU, which is still a real datapoint. Can't run it? Describe your machine in the form instead.

Step 2 · tell us where to find you
How should we read your machine?
Paste everything the command printed. It contains no personal data — only your hardware class, timings, and weights trained from synthetic tokens.
Step 3 · the worker itself

The packaged worker — install it, sign in, toggle contribute — lands with Gate 4. It is not shipping today and there is no install command to give you yet. The probe above is the real, runnable first step, and everything the fleet reports shapes what the worker has to support.

The data door

Nominate a corpus. Quality is weight: what you bring is scored, and the score is the multiplier on your patronage.

  1. Gate 1 · licence. Provenance that permits training use.
  2. Gate 2 · PII. Scanned and stripped before it reaches a round.
  3. Gate 3 · quality. Scored — and the score is the weight.

Nomination intake is the remaining half of this sprint. The three gates above are the mechanism it will run.
